SATURDAY YANKEE LOTTERY
The Saturday Yankee is a vital all-year-round fund raising scheme in which participants can win big prizes.
How It Works
For one pound a week you receive four numbers, which represent four horses which are scheduled to take part in each Saturday’s national horse-racing programme. You can either pay a weekly sum to a collector who will visit your address, or you can subscribe by standing order. Yankee collectors earn commission and volunteers are always welcome.
Your Yankee Collector delivers a slip to your home each fortnight which allows you to see which horses are yours in the next two coming Saturday’s races. These are normally televised races. If the horses win and their race numbers are in the same order as your four numbers, you win the Yankee, which is a minimum of £300. If this is not won, £350 is added to the Yankee each week until it is won. In weeks where the Yankee is not won, a total of £200 is divided amongst those holding three winning horses.

ALL CHANGE FOR ALTY
What do you do with all that loose change you have when you come through the front door ?
You can now pop it into one of our ‘All Change For Alty’ collecting boxes as our chairman, Grahame Rowley writes:
“We have available for collection ‘All Change for Alty’ money boxes. This scheme was started last year for fans to collect small change and was a great success raising in excess of £1000. Seventy five boxes were distributed last year and this year we aim to distribute in excess of 100. Please consider taking one home – it’s a great way to help fundraising with very little effort. Your support would be much appreciated”.
Money boxes are available for collection from the club offices during normal office hours
