Altrincham’s 2 goals last Saturday brought the season’s goal tally to 94 in all league and cup competitions for the 2011-12 season.

The End of Season Race Night and Presentation Evening saw the final draws in the TASC Goal Rush scheme.

The two winners of 2 complementary tickets to a home match early next season for the team reaching the 80 & 90 goal marks were Nicky Clee ! and Dennis Massey.

The end of season draws for the signed matchball and shirt were won by Neil Dummigan and Johnny Keen respectively.

Congratulations go to all our draw winners throughout the season.

The team’s goal scoring exploits mean that the Goal Rush Scheme has raised over £3,000 over the 2011-12 season, and on behalf of TASC and Altrincham Football Club we would like to thank all those supporters who agreed to take part for your generous support throughout the season.

We will be contacting all our sponsors over the next few days to arrange for payment of outstanding balances.

TASC will be running a similar scheme again for the 2012-13 Season and we very much hope that as many supporters as possible sign up to support the scheme.

Horses and Races are now available for the traditional ‘End of Season Race  Night’ which takes place in The Noel White Suite on Saturday April 28th , following the final league game of the season against Gainsborough  Trinity.

Prices are the same as last year, with Horse Sponsorship priced at £10 and Race Sponsorship at £20.

Further to Grahame Rowley’s statement regarding Dennis Birch being banned from Moss Lane, I would like to advise that this ban also extends to travelling on trips organised by TASC to away games.

The banning decision taken by the board of Altrincham Football Club, which ensures the prevention of further behavioural issues at home games by Dennis Birch, needs to be supported by TASC and it would be inappropriate to allow Dennis Birch to travel with The Altrincham Supporters Club (TASC), because in doing so, we would be potentially inviting a further episode of unwanted behaviour at an away fixture and that would be unfair to both the club we are visiting and Altrincham Football Club.

With this in mind, we felt that the best way to try to ensure that this does not happen, and hopefully to try to reduce our losses would be to run Minibuses to away games. Should we find that the demand for any away trips is greater than the capacity of two minibuses, then we will look to provide a coach instead.

With this in mind, TASC would urge all travellers to book as early as possible for away trips. This would be of great assistance to the organisers of the travel, to gauge demand as early as possible. Secondly, it is likely that the transport will reach capacity, so early booking would be advisable to avoid disappointment.

TASC’s supporters’ travel service will be operating a 30-seater coach to Altrincham’s away game at Gainsborough on Saturday (28th). To book your place, please ring the club on 0161 928-1045.

Those supporters who kindly made pledges are in the process of being contacted to request interim payments.

 

The TASC Goal Rush Scheme also includes a draw for every 10 goals scored  in addition to the end of season draw for two prizes of a signed match ball and shirt and the added bonus of a draw for a free season ticket if the Robins manage to reach 100 goals in the season.

 

The draws for the 40th, 50th and 60th goal benchmarks will all take place on Radio Robins at half time during the commentary on Altrincham’s away trip to Blyth on Tuesday evening.

 

In addition we will be holding a draw for the chance to win an extra bonus prize of two football biographies by former Manchester United manager, Frank O’Farrell entitled ‘All  Change At Old Trafford’  and former Nottingham Forest winger John Robertson’s ‘Supertramp .’
